The Team of DETECT’s Diversity Programme 
– Silke Hüttel and Dorothee Berkle-Müller – organised two workshops for women’s empowerment on presentation and assertiveness training. Both workshops on 1 and 2 July 2024 with Sabine Mariss were fully booked.
The first workshop “A Strong Performance” aimed at promoting women’s convincing self-presentation in talks, meetings and interviews.
Besides short theoretical inputs on the most relevant aspects, the training was mainly based on practical elements, such as presentations, role plays including feedback by both trainer and participants.
On the second day, Sabine Mariss supported the women participants with an „Assertiveness Training“ to pursue their goals and set their boundaries. Just like the first workshop, the focus here, too, was on practical exercises and experience.
Due to the positive feedback and high demand, an on-site workshop of this type will be included in the further DE-I-TECT programme selection to further pursue DE-I-TECT’s aim of empowerment.
