New study at University of Bonn on the impact of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) fluxes from water reservoirs to the global carbon cycle and climate change: student assistant needed!

The aim of the study is to quantify the carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) fluxes from the Rur reservoir and their impact on the global carbon cycle and climate change based on direct measurements at the reservoir.

The student assistant will support the team from the Geosciences Institute, Department of Meteorology and the Environmental Modeling Group at the Institute of Crop Sciences and Resource Conservation in preparing the measurement sensors in the form of a floating chamber, planning the measurement campaign logistically, carrying out the measurements on site and evaluating the measurement data obtained.
